Project PIWI - a project by us, Anna Grillmaier and Christina Hugl. Two wine lovers who decided to make an experiment with new, unknown but exciting grape varieties, also know as PIWI. Each year we launch a new interpretation of these thrilling grapes: one skin fermented and still and one wildly sparkling.

Organic. No additives. Just pure enjoyment.

My life principle: innovation is key! That’s why I decided to go all sparkly and dedicated my wine-making journey to the bubbly world.


Starting in 2014, I am producing the finest bubbles – some using the traditional method, some as Pet-Nats.

And since 2019 I am doing all of this in Langenlois, the heart of the Kamp valley.

…and that’s also where we met.

I was born and raised in Langenlois, grew up as the youngest daughter in a wine-making family.


Being the youngest can be fun, because we all know that we’re also taken care of a bit extra.


And that’s exactly why I am able to work full time in an event office, but at the same time I am always welcome at home to try out some fun stuff in the cellar.
